Island Dreaming

Many years were spent living and working in tropical locations, close to the water with its clarity and brightness of color. A lot of my early works resulted from this influence. With the advent of Covid and being limited in getting out and around, I started painting more, while desiring to revisit those tropical climes. In each painting of this series, I have tried to capture different colors and moods while generally keeping to one simple composition.
